RESEARCH

I have completed doctoral research on silence and how the therapist conceptualizes it, and uses it in practice. The output of which will be published shortly.

Over the years I have used both quantitative and qualitative methods in my research, but I have begun to specialize in studies using the Grounded Theory Method (GTM).

My previous research work has included investigations into in the use of crystal meth, anxiety and well-being in Asian culture, and suicidal ideation, responsibility, and the McDonaldization of psychotherapy.

You can find more details of these studies can be found on the Publications page.
