Originally from Ireland and trained in London, I’m a licenced social worker and uk-registered psychotherapist and researcher with a background in four distinct schools of therapy: psychoanalytic, existential, integrative, and hedonic.

I now live and practice in Greater Boston, Massachusetts. Before relocating to Chicago in 2017, I ran a private practice in Hamburg, Germany and provided consultation to the British National Health Service (NHS).

I hold an undergraduate degree in social work, as well as dual Master’s degrees in psychotherapy and counselling, and hedonic psychotherapy studies from Regent’s University London and the University of Sheffield respectively. I have a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in  psychotherapy and psychology from Regent's University London and the University of Northampton.

In addition, I hold post-graduate certifications in dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and advanced Motivational Interviewing (MI).
